This year we replaced a very large section of pipe in Little Chippewa Creek Reach LC01.

Replacing key components of the Dam Valve

Dam Maintenance

Each year we inspect all the dams, and Dam III-A suffered deterioration to a component in the valve opening and closing fixtures.

Special Project

Black Diamond Road Bridge

We were contacted by the Wayne County Engineer’s Office to provide needed data to facilitate bridge replacement over Chippewa Creek Reach CC03.

Channel Maintenance

Vegetation management is key to preserving channel capacity for flow and providing access for maintenance activities along the 33 miles of channel that we are responsible for.

In 2023, a large section of pipe was installed and several logjams were removed from the channel as part of the ongoing maintenance program.
