The success of the Chippewa Subdistrict is the result of the community and local, state and federal officials coming together to implement the Chippewa Creek Watershed Work Plan.

The Work Plan, the funding process, design and construction were all developed and implemented at the local level.

Implementation continues with the ongoing maintenance on a local level. The Subdistrict is advised by a technical advisory committee.
