Tree Removal Project / Shorle Rd. to Blough Rd.

Trees and brush along the banks of Chippewa Creek between Shorle Rd. and Blough Rd. had grown over the years to the point where the flow of water was greatly reduced causing flooding of fields upstream.

Photo above shows the crew clearing vegetation. In August of 2009, the trees and brush were removed along this section of channel. This area and all previously cleared sections will be mowed annually.
